Kalea Sheung reaches for the stars. A junior at Mills High School and a middle college student at Skyline College, Kalea maintains an excellent academic record, is co-president of the biology club, and plays on the national badminton team. In 2021, due to her incredible diligence and skill, she had the honor of qualifying for the World Junior Championships. Athletic achievements aside, Kalea is passionate about her cultural roots and plans on minoring in Asian languages to add to her repertoire to better assist diverse communities. She believes in wellness and self-care and is currently pursuing an Associate’s in Psychology to advance her knowledge of mental health. Kalea is grateful for all the support she has received as an athlete and will pursue a career as a physician in sports medicine so she can assist the next generation of athletes.
