Anahi Rueda-Perez looks for the bright side. Despite personal hurdles that were out of her control, Anahi chose to focus on the positive. She values her personal ties and prides herself on connecting with her loved ones. Anahi also shows this compassion and kindness to her community by volunteering with the Sheriff’s Activity League on projects like building wheelchair ramps, assisting the elderly, and planting trees. A junior at Woodside High School, she values learning and see limitless possibilities with her future. Anahi’s potential future courses of study include nursing, psychology, and fashion. Her admirable values lend themselves beautifully to Anahi’s chosen future profession as a neonatal nurse.
