Jordy Pascual (she/her) is the County of San Mateo Jobs for Youth Manager. She is passionate about making a positive impact in her community and empowering youth to embody their unique gifts as they explore career paths that will bring them joy. She loves mentoring youth to help them embrace their authentic self and provides a safe space to lean in and learn with curiosity. Jordy advocates for a future of equity and inclusion and amplifies the voices of youth to empower them in reaching their dreams.
Carlos (he/him/él) is a graduate from the University of San Francisco’s M.S. in Organizational Development program, where he also did his undergraduate studies, double majoring in Management and Spanish. He is passionate about creating lasting, positive change and dismantling exploitative systemic issues in San Mateo County and beyond. Carlos has been with Jobs for Youth since August of 2022, and loves overseeing the program’s workshop offerings and community outreach. Carlos is passionate about education, teaching, and mentoring, so being able to facilitate career development workshops for the County’s youth is extremely fulfilling for him. Outside of work, Carlos is extremely passionate about soccer, exercise, music, and gaming – oh, and eating!
