A Junior at Mills High School, Julie is a leader at her school and a beacon of resilience. An immigrant to the United States, Julie came to this country ten years ago. Julie is a leader at her school, serving as the treasurer of the Latina Mentor Program. Julie has also co-founded Girls on Campus with her sister, a social media page dedicated to educating young women on the complexities of pursuing a higher education. With a passion for law and baking, Julie is still determining what her interstellar journey will look like. All we know for sure is we are so proud to welcome Julie as a member of the 2024 JFY Scholar cohort!
