Deysi is a Senior at San Mateo High School who is truly out of this world! Passionate about history and social justice, Deysi dreams of one day becoming an immigration lawyer to advocate for those who are silenced in society. As a first-generation student, Deysi has consistently pushed herself academically and in extracurriculars to become the incredible young person she is today. We are thrilled to have Deysi in our 2024 JFY Scholar cohort and are eager to see what her future has in store!
