The Role: The Face of Our Hospitality The most important part of this position is simple: A genuine smile and an unwavering kind attitude. We are looking for a “People Person” who loves making others feel special. As our Host, you are the first impression of our restaurant, and we want that impression to be one of warmth, politeness, and total professionalism.

Presentation Standards: Dress to Impress At Espetus, our team members “look like stars.” We maintain an impeccable image to match our premium service:

• Attire: Professional, clean, and always perfectly ironed.
• Grooming: Well-groomed hair and clean nails are a must. Light, professional make-up for ladies and a well-groomed appearance for gentlemen.
• Detail: No excessive jewelry; a clean, polished, and sophisticated look is required at all times.

Qualifications

• Personality First: Must be naturally polite, consistently friendly, and able to maintain a positive, smiling demeanor throughout the entire shift.
• Customer Service Excellence: A passion for helping people and a drive to accommodate guest requests to the best of your ability.
• Communication: Fluent in English; Spanish and Portuguese speakers are a major plus.
• Problem-Solving: A “think outside the box” mindset to accommodate both reservations and walk-ins so that no guest is turned away.
• Proactivity: A high-energy team player who is always looking for ways to help their coworkers and improve the guest experience.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to remain standing and mobile on your feet for the duration of the entire shift.
• Availability: Must be available for nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• The Warmest Welcome: Greet every guest with a smile and a gracious attitude, making them feel instantly at home.
• Gracious Seating: Create and manage a seating plan that prioritizes the guest’s comfort, remaining flexible to fit in walk-ins whenever possible.
• Service with Care: Answer phones and provide information with a helpful, polite tone.
• Team Support: Jump in to assist in all areas and positions of the restaurant as needed—we work as one team to serve our guests.
• Lasting Impression: Ensure the final interaction with every customer is as pleasant and polite as the first.
