Responsibilities

• Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment efficiently and thoroughly.
• Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and ensure all areas meet health and safety standards.
• Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as organizing supplies or prepping ingredients when needed.
• Support banquet and catering events by ensuring all serving ware is clean and ready for service.
• Help with general kitchen cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, taking out trash, and sanitizing work surfaces.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely dish turnaround during busy service periods.
• Follow proper food handling procedures to maintain hygiene standards at all times.

Experience

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
• Familiarity with food handling safety protocols and sanitation practices is a plus.
• Experience with catering or banquet setups can be advantageous.
• Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced settings while maintaining attention to detail.
