Cook/Prep

We opened a board game cafe in Burlingame! A board game cafe is somewhere people can go to play board games, drink coffee and hang out with their friends. We have a simple menu of delicious food, and are looking for a cook to help us serve all of our customers delicious food while they play board games. We opened April 27, 2024.

Requirements:

• clean and efficient
• a team player with integrity
• meticulous with food presentation and preparation
• able and willing to comply with all health codes at all times
• has current servsafe certificate (must pass within probation period)
• has experience in food and beverage preparation and customer service
• has the willingness to continue learning about food and beverage preparation
• willing to help out in other areas if necessary
• eg: dishwashing, bussing tables
• availability to work peak hours, including nights, early mornings, weekends and holidays
• ok to work as part of a high-energy and efficient team in a fast-paced work environment
• ability to walk, bend and stand for extended periods

Cafe Open Hours:

Monday | 7am – 2pm

Tuesday | 7am – 2pm

Wednesday | 7am – 2pm

Thursday | 7am – 10pm

Friday | 7am – 10pm

Saturday | 7am – 10pm

Sunday | 7am – 5pm

Pay: $19.50 – $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 19.0 – 23.0 per week
