Responsibilities

• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently to process transactions accurately and quickly
• Greet customers warmly, answer questions, and provide product information to enhance their shopping experience
• Handle cash, credit, and debit card payments with precision and confidence, ensuring proper cash handling procedures
• Assist with product demos and upselling to promote featured items and increase sales opportunities
• Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring products are well-presented
• Support inventory management through stocking, inventory checks, and participating in periodic stock counts

Experience

• Previous cashiering or retail sales experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and a customer-focused attitude are key
• Bilingual skills are a plus to better serve diverse customer needs
• Familiarity with POS systems and basic math skills for handling transactions accurately
• Experience in grocery stores or retail environments will be advantageous
• Strong communication skills to effectively engage with customers and team members
• Supervising experience is beneficial for those interested in growth opportunities within the team
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
