Barista / Cashier position

We are looking for an individual that is self-motivated, a quick learner that can navigate through challenges and take accountability of their own actions. Bambu is challenging, individual/team building, and most importantly fun. We want you to enjoy coming to work and leave accomplished. Cashier/ Drink Barista is customer-facing and key in creating a great Customer Experience by providing Knowledgeable & Friendly service, Taking accurate orders, Preparing quality Che Desserts, teas, smoothies, and coffees fast and effectively. All while maintaining a clean and comfortable store environment, both in the kitchen and front of house.

Requirements:

• 6 Month minimum commitment.
• Must be able to work weekends
• Must be able to work opening and closing shifts (school hours will be considered)
• Part-time (10-20hrs a week)

Responsibilities and essential job functions include, but are not limited to the following:

• Act with integrity, honesty and knowledge that promote the culture, values and mission of the business. Maintain a calm demeanor during periods of high volume or unusual events to keep the shoppe operating to standard and to set a positive example for the entire shift team. Maintain an energetic, friendly and caring attitude at all times.
• Anticipate customer and shoppe needs by constantly evaluating environment and customers for cues. Communicate timely information to manager so that the team can respond as necessary. Maintain our shoppes high standards and quality every day.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to all customers by listening and responding to customer needs and requests.
• Follow the shoppe’s operational policies and procedures, including those for cash handling and safety and security, to ensure the safety of all customers and employees.
• Ability to effectively multitask on our own and work efficiently communicating with team members.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen and shoppe that promotes a healthy and welcoming environment. This does include dish washing, sweeping and mopping.
• Provide quality dessert drinks, smoothies, coffees, teas and other beverages, consistently for all customers by adhering to all recipe and presentation standards. Follow all product and shoppe health, safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Kitchen prep (making sure all items are prepped and stocked fully)
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
