Nicole grew up between worlds. While her recently immigrated parents established a life in America, Nicole was sent to live with family in Belarus, until she returned for the first day of kindergarten speaking only Russian.
Although Nicole admits the struggle to balance her dual cultures and languages persists, her references say this challenge made Nicole the effective collaborator and communicator she is today. They describe her as driven, unafraid to ask questions, and a vibrant presence who inspires others to do their best.
Currently a senior at Mills High School, after graduation Nicole wants to study Biology at a four-year university before attending dental school.
