Job Title: Line Cook/Prep Cook/Server/Cashier

Pamilya is a new and upcoming Filipino restaurant in Redwood City! We are excited to join the community and serve Filipino food!

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Line Cook/Prep Cook/Server to join our restaurant team. The ideal candidate will be able to multi task as a cook and server. You will be responsible for assisting in the preparation of delicious dishes in a fast-paced kitchen environment. As a Line Cook/Prep Cook/Server, you will work closely with the kitchen staff to ensure all food is prepared efficiently and according to set recipes and quality standards. WE ARE LOOKING FOR INDIVIDUALS WHO ARE WILLING TO BE CROSSTRAINED AS COOKS AND SERVERS. FAST CASUAL SETTING, NO NEED FOR SERVERS AT TABLES. SERVERS WILL MAKE ORDERS FROM BEHIND COUNTER.

Responsibilities:
– Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing, chopping, and measuring
– Assist in cooking and preparing various menu items according to recipes
– Set up workstations with all necessary ingredients and cooking equipment
– Ensure that food storage areas are organized and fully stocked
– Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen by adhering to proper food safety guidelines
– Collaborate with the culinary team to plan and develop new menu items
– Monitor food supplies and communicate inventory needs to the Head Chef
– Follow proper cooking techniques and presentation of food
– Adhere to all sanitation and food safety regulations

Skills:
– Proven experience as a Cook or Prep Cook in a restaurant or similar environment
– Knowledge of food handling and preparation techniques
– Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils, including knives
– Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
– Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
– Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
– Understanding of basic culinary terminology and techniques

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.50 – $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 16 per week
