CHEZ XUE is Foster City’s premier Chinese restaurant.

Job title: Server

Hourly wage: $35.00/hour

Tips: None. Our restaurant does not accept tips.

Responsibilities:
– Welcome customers and seat them
– Answer questions and make suggestions about the menu
– Take orders and payments using an iPad and all-digital system
– Clear dirty plates and utensils
– Refill waters, provide additional napkins, and provide service to diners
– Bring food from the kitchen to the table
– Clean the restaurant

Shifts available: Seven days a week. Lunch is from approximately 11:00-14:30, and dinner is from approximately 17:00-21:00.

Requirements:
– Must live locally
– Must have valid food handler’s card
– Must have valid RBS number (or obtain one immediately after hire)
– Must have a clean and professional appearance
– Must be fluent in English
– Must be able to work quickly and safely under pressure
– Must be able to take directions and accept feedback from supervisors
– Must not use illegal drugs or smoke cigarettes
– Must be able to work all holidays
