Overview

The primary objective of our summer internship program is to bring highly talented people into the organization. Our internship program is truly an ‘early identification’ program, focusing on identifying and investing in high potential university students graduating no sooner than December 2022, to encourage them to bring their talent back to Intuit after graduation.
Through our summer internship program, university students gain an understanding of how to instill confidence and enable business growth with our products, customers, and internal processes, while making meaningful work contributions.

What you’ll bring

  • Actively pursuing Bachelors’ or Masters’ degree in HR, Communications, or Business management
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and impact people at multiple organizational levels.
  • Strong assessment, prioritizing and contracting skills – key stakeholder analysis and ability to set and manage expectations.
  • Facilitation skills, including skills to open, narrow and close large group discussions, manage dialogue between stakeholders and participants.
  • Experience in identifying and managing complex group dynamics and reacting real time to changes in content and/or process.
  • Ability to think strategically in a complex environment.
  • Project management experience (i.e. planning, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple projects/tasks) exhibiting solid end-to-end thinking.
  • Strong written and oral communication and listening skills.
  • Strong experience using D4D principles to understand customer needs, test and measure results

How you will lead

  • Collaborating with multiple stakeholders, including vendors, global business leaders, finance, HR business partners, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) from the engineering community and L&D team members to assess the current landscape and provide learning opportunities that will grow skills and knowledge in line with Intuit’s technology strategy and top priorities.
  • Enhance an engineering new college graduate roadmap for Intuit Platform, plans for the future, which may include events, community building, growth opportunities, training and development
  • Lead interviews with current Interns, recent new college grads (NCGs)
  • Support Tech learning team operations, metrics, dashboards, analyzing data.
  • Instilling a mindset of customer-driven innovation, rapid experimentation and iteration.
  • Support the overall initiative to deliver a technical curriculum with SMEs from initial assessment to understanding the capabilities we want to build, identifying where we start, the plan to get there, and executing on that plan.
  • Assesses current training materials and approaches and makes recommendations to improve the learners’ experience and increase the speed to proficiency.
  • Partnering/managing site coordinators, that plan all logistics of training classes.
  • Developing processes and materials for programs as needed considering local and global rollouts.
  • Offering business partnership consulting on ad-hoc inquiries from around the company.
  • Fosters an environment that generates innovative ideas and encourages smart risk-taking.
  • Developing and running events like Innovation Days, Hackathons, or Demo Days that increase morale, collaboration and Innovation across the engineering community and Intuit.
