Job Summary:

SOJO Realty is a local real estate team. We are one of the youngest teams in the Bay Area and are looking to grow our business in the real estate industry. The Marketing Intern will report directly to the president of SOJO Realty. This position’s main job responsibilities involve managing the company’s media presence and assisting with a variety of Marketing projects. Details of job responsibilities are listed below.


  • Manage the company’s media presence and social media platforms (website, craigslist, facebook, instagram, LinedIn, twitter, TikTok, Youtube etc)
  • Create marketing materials (such as visuals, graphics, infographics, media content, brochures, etc.) for the company
  • Create, design and distribute real estate brochures and marketing ads
  • Handle advertising of property listing online and through social media
  • Take photos of properties and edit with enhancements
  • Marketing Event planning
  • Be creative and create marketing content to grow the business
  • Execute administrative tasks and projects as assigned with minimal supervision

Desired Qualifications

  • Have marketing and/or branding experience, interest in graphic design as well as administrative strengths.
  • Proficient in using Google Drive, Canva or other design programs, Microsoft Office*, Gmail
  • Strong literacy and numeracy skills to handle administrative tasks
  • Knowledge of basic computer skills to track and monitor leads and feedback
  • Working knowledge of social media for monitoring and advertising purposes
  • Graphic design experience preferred to create advertisements
  • Administrative and marketing experience preferred
  • Ability to handle multiple projects at the same time as well as prioritize and manage time efficiently
  • Ability to communicate effectively with buyers, sellers, real estate agents and vendors both verbally and in writing
  • People-oriented, dedicated to customer service, extremely organized and attentive to detail
  • Ability to work independently but also follow the instruction of lead real estate agents
  • Previous experience in the real estate industry is beneficial
  • Flexible to work various hours and willing to travel
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and the ability to quickly learn new systems.
