Kitchen Assistant

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and kitchen operations, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow in a culinary environment.

Responsibilities
– Assist in meal preparation under the guidance of the head chef or kitchen manager
– Support food service activities by setting up workstations, ingredients, and equipment
– Handle knives and kitchen tools with care and follow proper safety procedures
– Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area
– Collaborate with cooks and chefs to ensure timely food production
– Adhere to food handling and sanitation standards to ensure food safety

Experience
– Previous experience in a restaurant or culinary setting is advantageous
– Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and kitchen operations is preferred
– Familiarity with food safety practices and guidelines is a plus
– Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
– Strong communication skills and a team player mindset

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 40 per week
