Full Job Description

The San Mateo County Jobs for Youth program (JFY) supports San Mateo County youth age 14-21 in achieving their career and higher education goals. The program achieves this mission through three pillars of success: career skills training, job opportunities, and college/vocational training scholarships.

If you are excited about having a lasting impact, building community, and supporting other youth in reaching their full potential, we strongly encourage you to apply! Successful applicants must be current JFY Members or must meet the JFY Membership criteria (reside or attend school in San Mateo County, be 21 or under, and take a JFY career skills workshop within two weeks of receiving an offer).

NOTE: This is an extra-help, at-will assignment, paid on an hourly basis. Some extra help positions are eligible for benefits under the Affordable Care Act. Extra help employees are not guaranteed permanent status at the end of the assignment.
