Full job description
We are seeking a friendly, organized, and customer-focused Host/Hostess to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for guests, creating a warm and welcoming environment. As a Host/Hostess, you will manage reservations, coordinate seating, and ensure smooth front-of-house operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests promptly and professionally
- Manage guest reservations and waitlists using reservation software or a manual system
- Escort guests to their tables and provide menus
- Communicate effectively with servers and kitchen staff to manage seating flow
- Answer phone calls and provide information regarding the restaurant and menu
- Maintain a clean and organized front entrance and waiting area
- Handle guest concerns or direct them to the appropriate manager
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 – $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
