Golf Service Attendant

Upscale country club seeks trainable, hardworking individual with Hospitality/Golf environment experience. Country Club hospitality skills are highly desirable. Candidate must be 18 years of age or older. This individual’s responsibility will be to professionally service members in an outside golf course environment subject to weather conditions. Duties include cleaning and maintaining golf cart fleet, driving range, and surrounding areas. Candidate must be able to lift up to fifty pounds. Having an exceptionally positive attitude with a service-oriented team approach will be a must. A valid driver’s license is required. This is a part time position with the possibility to grow into full time. Work days include Tuesday to Sunday with hours ranging from 6 AM to dark. Job Tasks/Duties

• Brings golf carts from cart shelter to cart staging area outside Golf Pro Shop; checks golf carts for tire pressure, brake operation and other safety considerations.
• Loads bags from bag storage room onto golf carts.
• Transports range balls to each end of range and fills appropriate containers.
• Places baskets of balls at evenly spaced intervals on range.
• Operates tractor and ball picker on range to retrieve balls.
• Washes all range balls daily.
• Removes bags from golf carts and returns bags to assigned rack in bag storage room.
• Returns golf carts to cart shelter; removes towels, pencils, score cards, tees, drink cans, etc., from golf carts and saves reusable items; checks carts for damage; washes golf car with pressure cleaner; parks cart in shelter and connects charger cable.
• Cleans all clubs for members and guests; cleans and maintains the club’s rental equipment.
• Maintains cleanliness of and order in Bag Storage Room.
• Performs other appropriate tasks as assigned by the Head Golf Professional and Assistant Golf Professionals.
