Volunteer Position: Garden Volunteer
Calling experienced gardeners who would like to volunteer in a historic garden!
The Museum of American Heritage is looking for a few garden volunteers to help us tend to our garden. Some experience gardening is preferred.
This opportunity is available on Tuesday mornings from 10am to 12pm. We offer short term tasks to long term projects, depending on your preference.
Possible tasks could include watering plants, weeding, transplanting, fertilizing.
MOAH requires all volunteers to be 18 years or older, sign a waiver and show proof of COVID-19 vaccination in order to volunteer.
With a small paid staff, MOAH is dependent on our 100+ committed volunteers to help us maintain our exhibits, collection, gardens, and much more. If you are interested in becoming a MOAH volunteer, we encourage you to visit the Museum to see where your skills can help make a difference. MOAH currently has opportunities working with exhibits, education, events, the garden, and the collections committee. Volunteering opportunities are available for individuals 18 years and older.
