FX Digital Media marketing team develops innovative experiences on its website through high quality UX and optimal site performance in order to support its adult original programming for audiences that watch on Hulu’s streaming hub or cable networks FX and FXX. FX has received 445 Emmy® Award nominations and won 80 Emmys, as well as earned the most Emmy® Award nominations of any ad-supported cable brand for 10 consecutive years. Our prestigious slate of programming includes FX on Hulu original American Horror Stories and Reservation Dogs, drama series Mayans M.C. and Snowfall, limited series American Horror Story and American Crime Story, comedy series Archer, Atlanta, Better Things, Breeders, Dave, It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, What We Do in the Shadows, the weekly short-form comedy programming showcase Cake, and a growing slate of docuseries and documentary features.

A Day in the Life…

The Digital Media marketing intern will work closely with the Director of SEO to support on-site and technical improvements on the flagship sitewww.fxnetworks.com. This includes assisting with site performance audits, Google search console and Google Analytics reporting, and metadata (content) optimization on the site.

What we are looking for…

  • General knowledge of FX programs and main website
  • Experience with Excel, PowerPoint/Keynote, Adobe Photoshop
  • Passion for digital technology, coding or emerging tech platforms
  • Interest in search engine optimization, analytics or audience engagement

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous internship experience working with streaming service or digital content management system (CMS) is preferred

Required Education:

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university and taking at least one class, or be a recent graduate of an accredited college or university within the last six (6) months at time of application, or be currently participating in the Disney College Program, Disney Culinary Program or Disney Professional Internship Program
  • Major in Digital Media, Research / Analytics, Graphic Design or related fields is preferred

Additional Details:

  • Unrestricted work authorization
  • Participants must not have completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or program.
  • This internship is a remote internship. The internship requires a working, reliable internet connection as well as a quiet, dedicated work space.
  • The approximate dates of this internship are September through December 2022.
  • Candidate must be available to work full time hours (approximately 40 hours per week) for the duration of the internship.
