Samaritan House has the largest Food Services Program in San Mateo County. We provide more than 1 million meals each year to our low income neighbors who struggle to make ends meet. If you love working with food, we have many different ways you can support us.

Time: Varies between 9AM – 4PM M-F, Occasional openings on weekends
Volunteer Activity: Most of our roles at this time are with food services programs in the kitchen/pantry or as a drivers for our mobile meals/grocery rescue programs.
Number of Volunteers Needed: Openings vary by program/role
Needed Skills: 12-15 with a parent, 16+ on your own, 18+ and license required any driving roles, certain roles have a vaccination requirement.
