Craft Coffee Barista

Overview
We are seeking a friendly and energetic Craft Coffee – Barista to join our vibrant café team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for coffee, excellent customer service skills, and experience working in a fast-paced food or retail environment.

As a Barista, you will be the face of our café, creating a welcoming atmosphere while preparing high-quality beverages and ensuring an exceptional customer experience. This role offers an opportunity to develop your skills in coffee preparation, food handling, and retail operations within a dynamic setting.

MUST BE ABLE TO COMMIT TO THE FOLLOWING SCHEDULE:

Tue-Thu | 7:30am-2pm

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages and specialty drinks with precision and consistency.
• Provide outstanding customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and addressing inquiries professionally.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food preparation stations and seating areas.
• Handle food safety protocols, including proper food handling, sanitation, and adherence to health standards.
• Manage cash register operations, including basic math calculations for transactions and retail math accuracy.
• Assist in inventory management by restocking supplies and monitoring product freshness.
• Support team members during busy periods to ensure smooth service flow.

Requirements

• Previous barista experience or coffee industry background is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
• Must have own vehicle and drivers license & insurance – minimal driving as needed for supply replenishment.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Square POS and Toast POS is a plus.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming environment for all guests.
• Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and basic math skills for cashiering tasks.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced café setting while maintaining attention to detail.

Pay: $22.13 – $26.65 per hour
