Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while handling transactions accurately and efficiently. As a Cashier, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers.

As a Playground Team Member, you’ll play a key role in ensuring a fantastic experience for kids and their families. Your responsibilities will include supervising play areas, assisting guests, maintaining cleanliness, and providing excellent customer service.

Duties

• Process customer transactions quickly and accurately using the cash register and POS system.
• Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions while ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers warmly and addressing their inquiries or concerns.
• Upsell products and services by effectively communicating promotions and product benefits to customers.
• Conduct product demos when necessary to enhance customer understanding of items for sale.
• Maintain an organized checkout area, ensuring that the cash register is stocked with necessary supplies.
• Assist in restocking shelves and maintaining the overall cleanliness of the store environment.
• Demonstrate effective phone etiquette when answering calls or assisting customers over the phone.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in sales or retail is preferred but not required.
• Strong basic math skills to ensure accurate transaction processing.
• Familiarity with cash handling procedures and experience operating a cash register is advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills with an emphasis on customer service and phone etiquette.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• A proactive approach to upselling products and engaging customers effectively.

Pay: $17.50 – $18.50 per hour
