Description:

Siya Coffee is hiring baristas for a private catered event. This is for a mobile coffee cart serving espresso-based drinks.

We’re looking for two roles:

• A Lead Barista to handle espresso drinks quickly and consistently
• A Support Barista to assist with drinks, prep, restocking, and maintaining a clean, efficient station

We’re Hiring for Two Roles:

1. Lead Barista

Pay: $30/hr

You’ll be the primary barista handling creating the drinks with speed, consistency, and finesse.

Responsibilities:

• Pull espresso shots consistently and quickly
• Steam milk (Straus & Oatly) for lattes (hot + iced)
• Build drinks efficiently with clean presentation
• Perform latte art (heart, rosetta, stacks)
• Stay calm under pressure and keep service flowing

Must-Haves:

• At least 1+ years of experience in Barista experience
• Comfortable using one group head to pull multiple shots
• Strong steaming and drink-building skills
• Confidence in a high-volume, live-service setting

2. Support Barista

Pay: $20/hr

You’ll be the barista assisting in making drinks and keeping everything stocked, organized, and clean.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in prepping/finishing up drinks
• Restock milk, cups, syrups, and water as needed
• Maintain cleanliness of the cart
• Help with setup and breakdown

Nice-to-Haves:

• 6+ months barista or café experience
• Fast, proactive, and dependable
• Detail-oriented and great under pressure

Job Types: Contract, Temporary

Pay: $20.00 – $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 2 – 8 per week

Shift:

• 4 hour shift

Experience:

• Barista: 1 year (Preferred)

Shift availability:

• Night Shift (Required)
• Day Shift (Preferred)
