Diana Guardado is an empowering catalyst for progressive change. In 2021, even amid the ongoing pandemic, Diana was a beacon of light as she rallied together peers to advocate for improving federal financial aid standards to better serve students of low socioeconomic backgrounds. She is incredibly hard-working and juggles an internship along with being a full-time student and force for change. As the first Political Science and Public Policy major at Menlo College, Diana is working to transform theories into actionable measures. Diana aspires to be the first college graduate in her family and hopes to enter the field of government affairs and public policy as a proponent for culturally responsive solutions.
